Business Partners

Good Bless the Internet!

Recently, I had a good chitchat with a
friend from Saudi Arabia who is coming home by December 12, 2007 to
discuss business opportunities together with my team.  They have
investors from Saudi Arabia and what he wants from me is to help him
provide the necessary manpower for this particular BPO.  Basically it
is outsourcing programming projects, POS, website designing, accounting
softwares here in the Philippines.  I’m excited because this is another
milestone for me and my team as freelance developers.  The members of
our team has a regular day time job like me who work as a Lead, Network
Security Analyst.

I advised my friend that we should start from
doing our projects at the comfort of own room and not to cash out money
right away especially that this is a start-up company. The Headquarter
in Saudi Arabia will act as the marketing arm while here in the
Philippines is the support group.

Another is my former boss who
wish to have some partnership with me for his next venture on
consultancy. He’s arriving from Hawaii this coming November 27, 2007 to
discuss about his plans.  My first assignment is to find a headquarter
or a virtual office for a startup.  I have great confidence from this
guy because I know his track record as he built so many start-up
companies before and became successful on their venture and lastly, he
was one of the owners of these companies.  And I also admire the way he
deals with his subordinates.

Because of Yahoo Messenger, we were able to keep in touch with each other.

I pray that these meetings discussing all the plans of our next business venture will soon to materialize.

All the best for my team and soon to be partners.

What’s Next After 1st Cebu Security Summit 2007?

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

Working as a Lead, Network Security Analyst by day (or by night…LOL) makes me wonder if it’s a good move to organize the next and superb level of network security event by 2008.  Being a Freelance Event Organizer is another headache.  People think that I’m a visionary because I don’t run out of concepts.  I guess that’s the problem if you’re creative? Nah.

Aha.  With all the connections here and there, I can invite them as my advisors for this big IT event that I’m cooking for 2008. Yes, IT Security is still new in the metro.  The last summit had 200+ participants to witness the 1st Cebu Security Summit held last April 11th and 12th, 2007.

Right now, a group of individuals (young and old) are now waiting for my go signal as to when I can meet them for a "coffee talk". Yay! This is another round of dicussion where I can present the whole concept.  We need sponsors by the way, not for our coffee but for the whole event!

Signing out!
