Business Partners

November 24th, 2007 by ederts

Good Bless the Internet!

Recently, I had a good chitchat with a
friend from Saudi Arabia who is coming home by December 12, 2007 to
discuss business opportunities together with my team.  They have
investors from Saudi Arabia and what he wants from me is to help him
provide the necessary manpower for this particular BPO.  Basically it
is outsourcing programming projects, POS, website designing, accounting
softwares here in the Philippines.  I’m excited because this is another
milestone for me and my team as freelance developers.  The members of
our team has a regular day time job like me who work as a Lead, Network
Security Analyst.

I advised my friend that we should start from
doing our projects at the comfort of own room and not to cash out money
right away especially that this is a start-up company. The Headquarter
in Saudi Arabia will act as the marketing arm while here in the
Philippines is the support group.

Another is my former boss who
wish to have some partnership with me for his next venture on
consultancy. He’s arriving from Hawaii this coming November 27, 2007 to
discuss about his plans.  My first assignment is to find a headquarter
or a virtual office for a startup.  I have great confidence from this
guy because I know his track record as he built so many start-up
companies before and became successful on their venture and lastly, he
was one of the owners of these companies.  And I also admire the way he
deals with his subordinates.

Because of Yahoo Messenger, we were able to keep in touch with each other.

I pray that these meetings discussing all the plans of our next business venture will soon to materialize.

All the best for my team and soon to be partners.

What’s Next After 1st Cebu Security Summit 2007?

November 15th, 2007 by ederts

Working as a Lead, Network Security Analyst by day (or by night…LOL) makes me wonder if it’s a good move to organize the next and superb level of network security event by 2008.  Being a Freelance Event Organizer is another headache.  People think that I’m a visionary because I don’t run out of concepts.  I guess that’s the problem if you’re creative? Nah.

Aha.  With all the connections here and there, I can invite them as my advisors for this big IT event that I’m cooking for 2008. Yes, IT Security is still new in the metro.  The last summit had 200+ participants to witness the 1st Cebu Security Summit held last April 11th and 12th, 2007.

Right now, a group of individuals (young and old) are now waiting for my go signal as to when I can meet them for a "coffee talk". Yay! This is another round of dicussion where I can present the whole concept.  We need sponsors by the way, not for our coffee but for the whole event!

Communicating With Spirits

October 29th, 2007 by ederts

This post is a retrospect with Madam Dulce Cuna’s lecture on "Mediumship" conducted last October 27, 2007 during the Cebu Paranormal Society Halloween Festival.  Like the other topics namely: Numerology, Spiritual Warfare, Spirit Photography and Paranormal Investigation (by Spirit Questors Manila) were all educational and interesting. I was there to attend the lectures and meet the guest speakers.  It was a nice experience knowing the fact that the senior members of Spirit Questors were there to brace the event and give lectures to Cebu Paranormal Society members.

I’m not an expert on this subject, though I would like to share and confirm of what Madam Dulce texted to me when she was able to communicate with my grandmother who passed away last September 2007.  According to Ma’am Dulce, she was surprised when my grandma visited and talked to her.  We had the same vision when she shared to me what she experienced when she was in contact with my grandmother.  The white bright light around her body and the red patterns / color on her dress as what she saw in her vision.  The more I was surprised when she texted me something that it’s only me and my grandma who knew about it.

My mom was expecting also to dream about my grandma after 40 days of prayers but to no avail.  So I said to my mom that she already moved towards the light.  It is a belief that a way of communicating with the spirit of our loved ones who passed over is through sleep dreaming.  My success rate is nothing fantastic but I believe that I was able to communicate with my grandma giving me assurance that everything is okay with a feeling of comfort that engulfed my whole being when I dreamt about her.  It happened as I was asleep on my way back to Ormoc after visiting my folks in Tacloban.

Madam Dulce is a medium if I may say so, based on the accounts of her stories shared to me.  A medium has the ability to connect to spirits.  They have to work themselves into the same vibrational frequency range of the realms these spirits are in.  I cannot confirm yet if medium must pay a price; like they suffer from frail health after their energy are exposed to prolong contacts with spirits but for the basis of this topic, I leave this subject open.

Of course, there are some people who are born or gifted with the ability to communicate naturally with spirits, and they are not necessarily mediumistic types.

These are my thoughts on the subject of communicating with spirits.

Lights And Blessing (we all need that anyway…LOL),

These are some of the feedbacks from friends who showed me photos to read over Yahoo Messenger.  This is an art that I want to enhance which reminds me of my grandmother who has this same gift.

I also use this gift during our company recruitment.

Council of Psychics

April 25th, 2007 by ederts

As I was chatting with my event partner of 1st Cebu Security Summit held last April 11 and 12, 2007 something reminded of a particular psychic reading during the New Year’s Eve of 2007.

Gwyddon is now the President of Cebu Paranormal Society after my term and he was the one who told me on New Year’s Eve over Yahoo Messenger that for 2007 I will have two big events that I will organize.  Ngayon ko lang na remember yong sinabi nya sa akin.  I will tell him mamaya cuz we are going to meet somewhere downtown to meet a local healer for distant healing; requested by a friend nurse working in USA.  Sabi pa ni Gwyddon, dalawa daw ang events ang e organize ko for 2007.  I’m not so sure yet kung ano yong second event for this year.  All I know is by last quarter of 2007 I want to organize another event and include something about "Hack Challenge."

The Art of Face Reading?

April 14th, 2007 by ederts

Believe it or not, being the former President of Cebu Paranormal Society has helped me to practice what I learned directly or indirectly.  I believe we have innate abilities that are waiting to be unlocked.  I met a lot of psychics on and off the Internet as I spend most of my time in cyberspace because of my work as an IT Security Monitoring Engineer (day time job), Project Coordinator and Marketing Head of my freelance web team (www.iactivestudio.com) and also as a Freelance Event Organizer.

Recently, out of nowhere I’m beginning to read faces especially those that I chatted with over Yahoo Messenger.  It’s hard to explain, but sometimes it just come naturally.  Like I just burst all what I feel when I look at their picture.  Funny at times  because my friends enjoyed the reading especially if they asked me to read their friends, boyfriends, girlfriends or partners in life…then confirmed what I read.  If I contemplate, the more I get accurate readings but sometimes I just brush it off because it’s just for fun, nothing serious about it. I’m a newbie, I’m not yet a Master in Reading Faces.

I remember my grandmother who is still alive and healthy shared me her story of reading people through their faces.  How she wish that I will learn to read penmanships too like her because she was surprised why this so called gifts passed down to our generation particularly on me bypassing my mother and her two other sisters. Are they the Charmed Ones? I guess I have this ability from my loving grandmother who is a disciplinarian and very spiritual person.  I love her and I learned many things from her about the facts in life.  Her name is Constancia Maceda Alvarez.  Astig ang mga family name namin especially that I’m Cojuangco too.  Humbly speaking, sometimes it’s fun when they mistaken me as somebody else.

I cannot stop if I evolve into something like those characters in "Heroes" Hehehehehe. Joke only.  Honestly speaking, I feel lonely at times and sad because it is no longer a challenging task to know the person because it already give me a hint of who they are especially when I look at them.  Like what I said to myself, "How I wish I’m normal"  I don’t believe it’s a curse (heck) but what is important is how to live with it and make it useful.  Like what?  Solving  crimes?  LOLz.Picture_0561

Attached photo is the recent event I organized which is the 1st Cebu Security Summit held last April 11 and 12, 2007 at the SM Cebu Conference Hall.  I was given a plaque of appreciation as the Event Organizer for 1st Cebu Security Summit.

I applied astrology readings when I organized this summit months ago.  I warned them to reschedule the event in the first place and they didn’t listen.  To my surprise, the management finally rescheduled the event, thus, making this time a successful big event that I organized for being a Freelance Event Organizer.

More power, success and blessings for 2007!

To the Next Level!

To the Next Level

Our productivity may surprise us today as we set about fulfilling our personal and professional obligations. We may not realize at first that we are taking on more responsibilities at work and at home, but when we’re developing industriousness manifests itself on a conscious level, we will likely feel wonderfully self-assured. As we come to see what we are capable of, our achievements can inspire us to push ourselves even further or expand our efforts to include new goals. Adopting this type of hardworking attitude may serve us well today and in the future because it can help us reach our full potential while avoiding the fear of failure.

Pisces, Year 2007 Overview

January 22nd, 2007 by ederts

Year 2007 Overview

Pisces

Pisces is having a once in a lifetime opportunity for great changes this year. You will be having the time of your life, expressing your loving and compassion to the world and fulfilling your boldest dreams. There won’t be a dull moment and you will intuitively know exactly what path to follow and what feels right in your heart.

You will feel compelled to grasp new opportunities that manifest self-transformation in your career. You’re stepping into your power easily, especially around April when you are urged to express your visionary mentality. You might rediscover your musical abilities and express yourself in creative ways. You have the power and inspiration to bring mystical sensitivity to what’s around you. It’s time to bring out the dreamy, loving and compassionate side of yourself and let it shine.

You may want to get involved in writing, be it lyrics, poetry or just self reflection. Your idealistic nature is inspired from a strong connection to your surroundings, and you easily express yourself from a place of inner awareness. Your natural ability to communicate ideas to others is keenly perceptive now. Focus on trusting your intuition and you will get through nearly any circumstance. You need to lighten up about difficulties in life. Don’t be so critical and overly concerned about details. Because you’re so sensitive to others’ moods, you may feel like you’re not coming across in a very positive way. Take time out and have fun this year. Embrace that intimate love relationship you have!

=========================================================
On a Personal Note:

After reading the overview of my astrological planet for 2007, the reading above has a profound impact on me as things are getting clearer this time aside from what I posted previously about my career.  What was discussed above is true, why? One is I was able to build my contacts for new opportunities that I want to venture and to put it into test, while having a calculated risk.  For this year, I’m happy I have one company from USA who is outsourcing all their web projects to my team.  Having three projects right now is what keeping me busy.  What I want to accomplish is to have two companies from USA as my contacts who will outsource their projects to my team.  Happy enough that I was able to send money to my folks back home in Leyte.

Recently I attended a wedding, the 3rd wedding to be exact. Man, I promise that will be the last wedding I will attend unless it’s my own wedding. LOL.  Sometimes, watching people getting married makes me lonely. I wonder if somebody out there is for me? I’m not a man of words, though there are times I can read people’s mind or actions.  Funny at times, when some of my online friends ask me to read people by just looking at their photos.

Now going back to the last wedding I attended.  There was this guy who played a violin, and it was very nice and helped me reminisce when I was a kid having a piano recital.  I got his number and surprisingly, he teach and have his own studio.  Been dreaming to enroll again in a music school.  Though I like to learn how to play guitar but I think I’ll go first with the Violin class.  I’ll save some money and buy my own violin.  As I was listening to his music while playing his violin, a vision came to my mind.  And that vision was I was playing it in a big crowd, an event or something and I was sharing some talk inbetween the music I was playing.

Rediscovering my interest in music is my long time plan since I stopped when I entered High School.  Not to sound obnoxious but I was the top student in my piano class.

My ability to communicate my ideas is keenly perceptive right now, is because after attending the business plan of our company, I was inspired to organize four marketing and sales event for our company.  When I shared my concept to my boss (foreigner), he was impressed with my ideas and gave me a tap on my shoulder.  Now, they see my potentianls. I’m now inchrage for our marketing events this year aside from my regular job as Security Monitoring Engineer.  This is also good for my evaluation and promotion, don’t you think?

Cooperative Effort

January 22nd, 2007 by ederts

By setting goals in a cooperative mind-set with family or friends, we
can lend a more powerful collective energy to our own goals and those of our loved ones. While goal setting on an individual basis can be beneficial, we can often achieve more by forming a cooperative effort with like-minded people who are also trying to reach their goals and improve their lives. Not only do we end up combining our energy to create positive outcomes for all concerned, but we also help keep each other motivated and accountable while in pursuit of our dreams.  By aligning our efforts with our loved ones’ own determined attempts, we can combine our energy and create more powerful results for everyone involved.
